Tigo Access Point (TAP)

The Tigo Access Point (TAP) is a wireless communication device that connects Tigo TS4 optimisers to the Tigo Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) and Tigo Energy Intelligence (EI) platform. It enables real-time module-level monitoring, optimisation, and rapid shutdown control, ensuring maximum performance, safety, and visibility across your solar PV installation.

The TAP unit communicates wirelessly with TS4 optimisers over a robust 2.4GHz mesh network, reducing the need for additional cabling while maintaining reliable data transmission — even across large rooftops or multi-string commercial systems.

When paired with the Tigo CCA, the TAP creates a complete smart monitoring system, allowing installers and owners to view individual panel performance, fault alerts, and energy analytics directly via the Tigo EI web and mobile apps.
